Supply List
(for Adult and Junior Lessons)
Most important is your photograph. Do not use a photo taken with flash photography An image lit from one side makes a more interesting, more successful painting!
A good selection of filbert tip brushes for oil.
A good selection of oil or acrylic colors. I like Lucas oil paints but you can shop for the price and color that you like.
Acrylics are best for younger
students as oils can be toxic to messy painters.
You do not need to spend a lot on supplies. Materials can be purchased
inexpensively at Wal Mart and Jerry's Artarama in Norwalk.
Palate box and pad will help you transport neatly and reuse your paints from week to week.
A palate knife.
I supply wax and turpenoid for cleaning your brushes but you can buy your own supply if you plan to work at home.
